Static Equipment Design Engineer

Job Description

• Lead the mechanical team in improving overall quality while optimizing the time and cost elements.
• Specific software packages for the area, Design, Equipment / Installation. Material Requisitions
• P&ID Comprehension, structural design & calculation, equipment cost estimation
• Pressure Equipment Mechanical calculations, general specifications
• Check of Pressure Equipment Vendor Drawings
• Experience in materials and mechanical design of tanks, vessels, columns, reactors, shell & tube exchangers, chimney, stack, in PV Elite, Compress, development of GA / detailed fabrication drawings with MTO as per National and International codes and standards, and technical procurement including preparation of material requisitions, technical bid analysis, vendor documents review and vendor documentation
• Manpower planning, progress monitoring, Manhours planning
• Co-ordination with other disciplines and vendor/client

• Software Skills – PV Elite, Compress, Tank V13.
