Job Description
• Perform structural analysis for static, dynamic, wind, seismic, and lifting conditions using software like STAAD.Pro, RFEM, or SAP2000.
• Ensure structures are designed to handle loads from piping, equipment, electrical trays, and instruments.
• Collaborate with process, piping, and electrical/instrumentation teams to finalize skid layout.
• Ensure skid base and structural members accommodate penetrations, supports, and interface loads.
• Develop and review 3D models using TEKLA or similar software and generate 2D fabrication drawings.
• Create GA drawings, assembly drawings, and connection details per project standards.
• Ensure constructability of design in coordination with fabrication vendors.
• Review vendor documents for skid base frame, gratings, ladders, lifting lugs, and transport skids.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards such as AISC, Eurocode, IS 800, ASME, DNV, and project-specific specifications.
• Validate lifting points, transport analysis, and handling conditions per lifting study.
