Tank farm Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities (State the primary duties and tasks of the position.)

• Responsible for all tank farm operations, including
• RM unloading
• FG filling in tankers, IBC, drums
• Coordination with Supply chain, Purchase team for RM, FG tanker planning, scheduling.
• Accountable for disposal of the following:
• Waste solvent
• Scrap drums and IBC
• Repacking, Relabelling.
• Provide leadership to develop and promote best practices related to work area.
• Ensure tank farm operation as per standard operating procedures
• Planning for the manpower requirements to accomplish the tank farm operation for Meeting the schedule..
• Daily check the tank inventory of intermediates, RM, FG.
• Ensuring the use of calibrated equipments at the storage tanks and their proper handling to minimize the breakdown.
• Coordination with Maintenance department for routine, preventive, breakdown maintenance and and schedule shutdown.
• Maintaining daily reports and statistical analysis.
• Ensure that the team operates in a safe and efficient manner
• Implement company Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policy and procedures for tank farm operations

Critical Focus Areas

• On-time tank farm status and achieving maximum output as per fixed targets.
• Ensure all legal compliance and follow all the statutory norms and safety norms.
• Manage people on regular basis.
• Ensure no deviation or delay in tanker loading and unloading.
• Optimal utilization of all resources.

• Delivery on time as per agreed targets
• To ensure optimum use of safety resources without compromising on safety.
