Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Procurement Executive/ Assistant Manager to execute the procurement operations, with a primary focus on raw materials, especially in the Chemicals domain. This role requires strong commercial acumen, strategic sourcing capabilities, and proven negotiation skills to ensure best-in-class
procurement practices that drive value and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Execution of the end-to-end procurement of goods and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition.
Identify, evaluate, and source potential suppliers, focusing on Raw Materials (particularly Chemicals).
Lead vendor negotiations to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Conduct market research to monitor trends, pricing dynamics, and benchmark best practices.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships; address and resolve vendor issues proactively.
Ensure adherence to procurement policies, legal requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate closely with Finance, Production, and Quality departments to align procurement with operational needs.
Issue Purchase Orders promptly and obtain supplier Order Acknowledgements within defined TAT.
Generate and analyze purchasing reports to maintain KPIs and support decision-making via dashboards.
Drive results in a fast-paced, evolving environment by leveraging competitive market insights.
Maintain and update the vendor master database, ensuring documentation aligns with PMI Procurement Policy.
Track budgets, spending, and report on procurement performance against targets.

Mandatory Requirement:
