QC – Chemist

Job Description

Responsibilities:
– Drawing samples of RM and FG for testing.
-Analysis of all raw materials, finished material, WIP and packaging material as per laboratory manual and timely reporting of the results and release of stock in SAP.
-Issuing blending instructions of RM whenever required.
-Issuing of inspection status label.
-Upkeep of laboratory equipment including glassware -Calibration of laboratory equipment as per SOP.
-Preparation and standardization of volumetric solutions
-Ensuring safe operations in the laboratory
-Preservation and disposal of counter samples of RM.
-Checking availability of lab chemicals and glassware.
-Effective implementation of EMP and SMP.
-Implementation of actions for achieving objectives.
-Implementation of corrective and preventive action for quality, environment and safety issues.
