Job Description
• Responsible for sales in the Eastern parts of India; direct and/or via dealer / agent network.
• Work in close coordination with the Management of the Company, and the Management Team of the Parent Company, MB SpA, whenever required.
• Plan, direct & execute the overall sales & marketing strategies to generate revenue and achieve expected profitability in Eastern parts of India;
• Plan, pursue and ensure adequate sales coverage, through direct and/or indirect sales network, in key markets within the Indian market as agreed with senior management of Company and Parent company.
• To implement appropriate marketing strategy to support existing clients and enhance new business to boost revenue from the targeted market. Establish working relationship with distributors, dealers, agents and other potential associates;
• Monitor efficiency and credibility of dealers and set up targets for the same;
• Manage dealer relationships;
• Manage dealer receivables without any delay in payment as per the dealership agreement
• Analyse the sales potential across region and the collaterals required to appoint a dealer, direction, motivation and training to the field sales team, thus ensuring optimum results from team;
• Develop and cultivate key client relationships;
• Carefully assess the overall sales process, dealer network coverage;
• Review and analyze different areas for business trends in order to give better products and after- sales services and maintain a strong revenue growth in a highly competitive environment;
• Organize and coordinate activities for, and represent the Company in, various conferences, trade fairs, and networking events;
• Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelors in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Marketing & Sales of construction and earth moving equipment; specifically attachments, crushing equipment, rock breakers, excavators, backhoes, loaders.
• Strong network in construction equipment or heavy equipment sectors. This should extend to knowing key personnel in the industries from end users, suppliers, dealers, financing channels.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience developing and fertilizing business relationships with clients and dealers / agents.
• Superior sales ability including excellent technical and communication skills, along with a successful track record.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; other regional languages will be a plus.
