Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and ensure availability of materials to support site operations.
• Inventory Control: Establish and enforce inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of inventory records, including cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and variance analysis.
• Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with procurement teams to replenish stock in a timely manner, balancing the need for adequate supply with cost considerations.
• Warehouse Operations: Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of materials, to ensure efficient and effective handling of inventory and timely fulfilment of orders.
• Inventory Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of inventory data, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in inventory management processes and implement solutions to streamline operations, improve accuracy, and enhance productivity.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of inventory and warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of performance and continuous improvement.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices in warehouse and inventory management, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
