Job Description

Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the strategic plan for the chemical business unit, aligning with the overall company goals.
Identify growth opportunities, new markets, and product diversification strategies to enhance the company’s market presence and profitability.
Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to adapt the business unit’s strategy accordingly.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee and optimize the operations of the chemical business unit, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
Implement effective processes and procedures to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Financial Management:
Manage the financial performance of the chemical business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Ensure revenue and profitability targets are met and implement strategies to increase financial performance.
Monitor and report on key financial metrics to the executive team and the board of directors.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Provide mentorship and guidance to department heads and other key personnel within the chemical business unit.
Ensure the team is aligned with the company’s values and goals.
