Job Description

Responsibilities:
Perform qualification, troubleshooting and maintenance on AAS / ICP instruments.
Identifies and recommends improvements to methods to maintain quality
Completes tasks within the allocated time
Performs complex testing of raw materials and finished products, maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments, prepares standard and sample solutions, and maintains appropriate records
Responsibility to bring all problems (technical) to the attention of the HOD.
Operates general analytical instruments during routine testing.
Performs analysis on intermediate and finished products.
Maintains appropriate documentation (records and lab notebooks) as required by Sop’s Complies
Good housekeeping and safety practices.

Experience: Minimum.3-5 year of related laboratory work experience out of which Minimum 2 years’ experience in handling AAS and ICP
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Chemistry from an accredited college or university / Analytical Chemistry
