Fire Protection Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities:
To identify risks and design safeguards to prevent, control, and mitigate the effects of fires.
Collaborate with project & engineering teams to evaluate life safety and property protection goals for structures.
To work closely with projects & engineering teams to design and implement fire safety systems
To carry out reviews of fire behavior, hazards, and prevention methods.
To develop new technologies related to fire safety, such as faster fire detection methods or heat-resistant materials
To review plans to ensure compliance with fire safety codes.
To recommend updates to existing fire protection systems as needed, such as adding smoke detectors.
To ensure proper inspection & maintenance of firefighting facilities for reliability & integrity during emergencies.
To develop pre fire plants for plants & offices.
They educate managers and workers on emergency procedures, evacuation routes, and fire safety protocols.
To review adequacy of firefighting facilitiues periodically.
To carry out annual performance tests for fire pumps as per requirements.
To develop competencies of firefighting team personnel.
