Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Cash Flow Management:
Ensure optimal cash flow by forecasting cash needs accurately.
Maintain liquidity to meet financial obligations promptly.
Minimize idle cash balances to maximize returns on investments.
Develop and maintain cash flow forecasting models to aid decision-making.
Monitor actual cash flows against forecasts and make adjustments as necessary.
2. Risk Management:
Identify and assess financial risks such as interest rate, currency, and market risks.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and hedging programs.
3. Banking and Financial Relationships:
Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Negotiate favorable terms for loans, credit lines, and banking services.
4. Debt Management:
Assess the company’s debt structure and make recommendations for refinancing or repayment.
Manage debt issuances, including bond offerings or loans.
Optimize debt-related costs and terms.
5. Investment Management:
Develop investment strategies to optimize returns on surplus funds.
Ensure compliance with investment policies and guidelines.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of investment portfolios.
6. Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to treasury operations.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including cash flow forecasts and risk exposure reports.
7. Financial Planning and Budgeting:
Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and budgeting processes.
Provide input and insights into strategic financial decisions.
8. Technology and Systems:
Stay updated on treasury management systems and financial technologies.
Implement and optimize treasury-related software and tools for efficiency.
9. Advisory Role:
Provide senior management with financial advice and insights based on treasury expertise.
Contribute to strategic decisions related to the organization’s financial health.
Assist Sales team for price fixing in foreign currency for long term overseas contract
