Job Description
A hard core Operations Manager having 15 to 20 years of experience (8-10 yrs hardcore experience in operations mandatory) in manufacturing unit & conversant with SAP/ERP working environment, who can handle & manage a team having a workforce of 45-50 employees including workers.
KEY AREA :
He has to be the interface of the factory and head office. Able to Increase productivity, Optimization of Manpower, Systems and Process Oriented. Inventory Control, MIS, Able to communicate with production team and execute the production schedule with respect to Manpower allocation on daily basis, generate report of Standard v/s Actual output, proper feedback on day to day basis to ensure quality parameters & process parameters are diligently followed. Able to manage entire Store activities including Logistics & other commercial activities, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency, maintain solid inventory data and ensure that it is diligently followed. Make decisions about equipment use, modifications, maintenance of machines to improve life. Clean-up and regular maintenance for keeping equipment in
good working order. Maintain / keep specific log sheets for all equipment used by referring to the manufacturer’s operation manual. To keep equipment maintenance records indefinitely. Managing Inventory levels, anticipating needed equipment, parts, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipts etc. Maintaining housekeeping standards, keeping a log sheet to ensure a clean and safe workplace. Should be conversant with SAP/ERP and able to generate various MIS Reports.
Able to extract information from the existing systems and protocols and to improvise the same. Able to manage & ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and
monitor compliance with laws and regulations. Able to establish Quality & Performance Management System by accomplishing/motivating staff, rank their performance on the basis of KPI. Able to evaluate performance every quarter and take disciplinary action by enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Should have problem solving skills & Deadline Oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, should know conceptual system, methodology & excellent communication skill to discuss with management and implement.
