Job Description
A Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying and generating sales opportunities for specialized products like spectrometers. The role involves working closely with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to meet regional sales targets, understanding market needs, maintaining client relationships, and tracking industry trends. The Sales Engineer is also responsible for monitoring competitors, providing post-sales support, and ensuring timely payment recovery as per agreed terms.
Key Responsibilities:
Opportunity Generation: Identify and develop sales opportunities for spectrometers.
Market Analysis: Research and track market needs, expansions, and projects to align sales strategies.
Client Information Management: Maintain updated client data for effective sales engagement.
Competitor Monitoring: Track competitors’ strategies and analyze lost opportunities.
Post-Sales Support & Payment Recovery: Provide necessary documentation for after-sales service and ensure timely payment recovery.
